[WARNING: This page concerns the 2024/2025 iteration of this course. You will be notified in due time when the updated version for 2025/2026 is available. Until then, please refrain from using this information for working on your assignment!]
The 4 deliverables should have the following form:
- Video walkthrough. The video walkthrough should be an mp4 file. If you need to convert your video into mp4 format, Handbrake may come in handy.
- Description. The report containing the description and evaluation of your system should be a pdf file.
- Schematics. The schematics should be in the form of a pdf file as well. Handwritten scans are tolerable as long as they are neat and legible.
- Code. The Arduino sketch and all its dependencies should be contained in a zip file.
Make sure that the names and student numbers of the authors are included in each deliverable.
Combine all of the deliverables into a single zip file, containing a folder for each deliverable, and submit this zip file using the Brightspace course environment. As it is a group submission, you need to submit the zip file only once for the two or three of you.
Make sure that you complete your submission in Brightspace.
Note: uploading a large file to Brightspace might take some time. Please take this into consideration when submitting. Don’t postpone your submission until the last moment before the deadline!
Note: the maximum allowable file size for uploading in Brightspace seems to be sufficient. If, however, you have trouble uploading your resulting zip file due to size limitations – think video here -, try to make your video walkthrough smaller using a tool such as Handbrake. If all else fails, feel free to upload your video walkthrough somewhere else (such as YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive) and include a readme.txt text file containing the link to your video walkthrough in your submitted zip file. (And yes, we will check file upload dates and times.)
The deadline for this assignment is Monday, March 9, 2026, 17:00. This deadline is final and will be enforced by Brightspace. Again, do not postpone your submission till the last minute, as uploading takes time. Submissions by e-mail will not be accepted. After submission your work will be graded.
